Responsibilities: Photonic band-gap Crystals (PCs or PBGs) fabrication for microwave and optical applications (filters in the mm and µm wavelengths) • Smart materials fabrication and characterisation (Indium oxide thin films produced by sputtering deposition). • Hands-on on Microtechnology techniques (LiGA–Deep x-ray lithography) to fabricate 3D PBG at main synchrotron laboratories in Europe.
